From Cheziya to Kazakhstan: Student Champions Zimbabwe on World Stage
Murove Presence
The Cheziya Gokwe High School community celebrates Murove Presence, who proudly represented our school and our nation at the 2nd Olympiad for People with Disabilities in Astana, Kazakhstan.
Held from October 19-26, the tournament featured participants from around the world. Presence, the national Paralympic champion, was a key member of the four-person Zimbabwean team, which achieved a respectable 30th-place finish. Under the captaincy of Mr. Jemani, the team competed with distinction, with Presence himself finishing 16th on Board 4.
Well done, Presence, for this outstanding display of talent and determination!
